Who It's For
Since 2017
Why iKapa?
iKapa Impact was built by people who have worked at the highest levels across government, civil society, academia and international development — including leadership within the Cape Chamber of Commerce. That depth shapes every placement we design.

Express Your Unique Passions and Expertise
iKapa Impact is a well-established internship program based in the heart of Cape Town, South Africa. For over a decade, we have cultivated deep, meaningful relationships with non-profit organizations across the Western Cape—organizations committed to tackling social injustices ranging from education inequality to youth empowerment.
What sets us apart? We don't believe in one-size-fits-all placements. We take the time to understand your unique skills, passions, and career goals, then match you with projects where you can truly make a difference.
Our interns don't just observe—they contribute. Past interns have created educational toolkits, designed marketing campaigns for major foundations, and built lasting connections with local communities.
Beyond work, we ensure you experience the magic of South Africa. From hiking Table Mountain to exploring vibrant townships, from wine tastings in Stellenbosch to safaris in the Eastern Cape—your adventure awaits.
